I entered 3 pieces in the Madison County Fair this month and received the first blue ribbons of my life—for a fair, that is. I was entering pieces mostly to get my work out there, but receiving the ribbons, as well as the "trophy award"
Last week on November 22 we had a great experience at our Creative Night Out. I had 8 students, and we all drew on gray-toned paper using charcoal and white chalk. I can’t wait to do something like that again.
We started an art class this past Tuesday afternoon at the HERE gallery. Such a fun day. Our next class will be this coming Tuesday evening, September 17th. We still have openings for more students.
The art camps have been successful so far. There is a good possibility that I will do this again next year.
