Art making has been a passion much of my life. For many years I worked as a graphic designer, while continuing to draw and paint. I live in Eastern Idaho, where there is plenty of fodder, regionally, for landscape painting and enjoying the outdoors.
I have an art practice/art business, and increasingly participate in gallery and museum shows as well as art markets. I teach studio art, art appreciation and yearbook classes for Ensign Peak Academy, a K-12 private online school, based in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. It appears that the processes of teaching art and making art inform one another and enhance learning as well as the creative art experience.
